Freeze Frame!

I mentioned in an earlier post that every time we go to the house we see something new! We really saw something new this last time! This past Thursday we were over eating with friends at a restaurant only minutes from the house and decided to stop by after we ate. We had just been to the house the night before to check out the foundation that was poured this past week and expected not much to have changed. When we turned the corner to the neighborhood we were in for a huge surprise! They had started framing the first floor! We did not have our cameras so we had to go back Friday and when we returned Friday they had put in the floor supports for the second story! It was really fun to be able to walk through the house and actually stand in "rooms"! We had altered the floor plan a little bit to make the master closet bigger. While it looked good on paper we were slightly nervous about what it would actually look like in real life! It was perfect and so far we have no complaints!

  1. Lookin' good - we checked each pic out. It's amazing how quickly the work. In by August??? Probably a bit optimistic, but you'll be in before you know it. The H beams for the second floor are excellent - will reduce squeaky floors. Thanks for the updated pics.
