We went tonight, and again are LOCKED out! But we did find a way in! It was dark and so the pictures are not very good, but we tried the best we could!

Hello, again! Sorry for the delay! Adam went last night and saw that we had some landscaping done! We also had air conditioning and sprinklers! I can no longer go to the house on Monday nights because I have Huntsville Community Chorus! It has been challenging to get into the house too because it is LOCKED and I mean LOCKED (windows, doors, etc.)!!!

Where The Sidewalk Ends

Our sidewalk and drive way were poured earlier this week! We have been so busy I have not had time to post the pictures! We also went today and we are officially LOCKED OUT! But the workers were working in it so we snuck in! We have tile floors in the bathrooms and laundry room, and we have our cabinets!! We also have our pillars outside! Woo hoo! It is coming together!

The dirt is ridiculously red/orange! It stains, too!

Love the tile/cabinet combination in the bathrooms! 

I love the dark cabinets! They are pretty! 

We chose a darker tile for the laundry area because that is where most of the mud will be tracked in!  (We should have chosen red tiles with the kind of dirt we have down here!) 

Oven/microwave and then fridge will go along this wall! 

Sink and dishwasher will be on this set of cabinets! 

Master bathroom cabinets and floors! We will have a double sink! 

Progress Is the Root of All Houses

So, the real words to this title are as Jared Schoettger once sang in the Lincoln East High School's production of "Lil' Abner", "Progress is the root of all evil!"That is not the case in tonight's posting. Progress, in this case, is a good thing. We have shutters, a garage door, they are continuously touching up paint inside, and they have laid the ground work for our sidewalks and driveway to be poured soon. As the days tick by I am starting to get antsy, and nervous that they will not get it finished in time! Here are some pictures:

This has been a big mystery for me in the house hunting process and while watching house hunting shows on TV, WHY DON'T HOUSES COME WITH FRIDGES???!!! I just do not understand why every other appliance is standard but for some odd reason the refrigerator is always left out! Well, anyway, we found a great deal on a nice refrigerator at Best Buy last night. Here are pictures! It will be delivered the day we move in!
